Vector Add
Purpose:
Add packed double-precision (64-bit) floating-point elements in a and b, and store the results in output.
Result:
A 128-bit vector containing the resulf of the addition.
Example:
#include <emmintrin.h>
#include <stdio.h>
int main() {
__m128d a = _mm_set_pd(3.5, 1.5);
__m128d b = _mm_set_pd(2.0, 4.0);
__m128d result = _mm_add_pd(a, b);
double* res = (double*)&result;
for (int i = 0; i < 2; ++i) {
printf("%f ", res[i]);
}
printf("\n");
return 0;
}
